Founder's note

The Air
Has No
Walls.

On why we started Clean City Mobility, and what we are trying to change about the city everyone shares.

01 — The reality

Glass and AC

Stand on any busy road in Hyderabad at 8 in the morning. The street dog at the kerb, the auto driver, the school kid on the bicycle — they breathe whatever the city's trucks are burning. Inside a car, you get glass and AC. Outside, everyone else gets the exhaust. That simple, unfair reality is why Clean City Mobility exists.

02 — The problem

The dirtiest kilometres

Most urban freight in India travels the last 10 to 20 kilometres on diesel — cold starts, stop-and-go traffic, thousands of runs a day through every lane of every city. These are the dirtiest kilometres, and they happen right where people live. At the same time, the economics have quietly crossed over: an electric cargo vehicle on a city route now costs meaningfully less to operate per kilometre than its diesel equivalent. The transition to electric stopped being just the right thing to do. It became the smart thing to do.

03 — What we built

A managed fleet, not a product

We run managed electric cargo routes for businesses in Hyderabad — corporate cafeterias, FMCG distributors, facility operators, dark store supply chains — that need stock on time, every day, with proof. We own the vehicles, manage the drivers, charge overnight, and show up at your dock on schedule. Fixed route. Committed SLA. GPS-verified proof of delivery. Carbon savings on every invoice. Every kilometre we run is one that didn't cost the city its air.

04 — The deeper why

Clean air is a commons

We didn't start this because of a regulation or a grant. We started it because clean air belongs to everyone in the city — the cyclist, the pedestrian, the delivery rider — not just those inside an air-conditioned cabin. The only way to protect that is to change what powers the vehicles moving through the city.

Clean City. Clean Mile.
Not a tagline. A commitment.

Every mile we run is one less mile of pollution in a city that shares its air with everyone.

05 — Who this is for

Built for people who need to get it done

We are for FMCG distributors, corporate cafeterias, facility managers, and dark store operators who need stock to arrive on time, with proof, every day — not approximately, not when the driver answers his phone. For brands that want their supply chain to match their sustainability story. And in a quieter way — for everyone who lives, works, walks, and breathes in this city.

Clean City Mobility is based in Hyderabad, Telangana. We operate electric cargo vehicles for urban last-mile logistics under the mission: zero emissions, every mile.
